Creating a balanced life for your mind, body, and spirit
Everyone struggles with this. If we don’t live a balanced life, our health and wellbeing suffers. We know what’s good for us, yet we still don’t do it. Why? The secret to success is creating healthy habits. You can’t learn a healthy lifestyle and a balanced life. You have to practice it every day, day in, day out.
Create daily small goals and act on them. For example to eat better and save money, instead of buying lunch at work every day, prepare a healthy lunch. Start with one to two days a week and then three to four days per week. And on days that you do go out, prepare a healthy breakfast (the night before) so that you’ve started the day on a good note and are more likely to eat a balanced lunch. You can save up to $200 on lunches per month if you do this.
A balanced mind, body and spirit is a commitment you make to yourself. What a lot of people do is make excuses about not having enough time, or being too tired. So if you have an excuse, challenge it. If you want to feel and look better, have more energy and a content mind, then set small goals. Practice daily healthy habits that benefit your mind, body and spirit, and before no time, it will come second nature.
